It will always prove more profitable to sell our books in the best way; to write a good order. What are some factors that make up good order?
Tangibles and Intangibles
There are some factors that might best be classified as intangibles.
Be practical about their finances
For example, good judgment of what material is best for the prospect is based on an observation of the prospect's need. If he buys what he wants, not just what he is talked into buying, he is more apt to pay his obligation. A sincere desire to sell, but not oversell, is essential, allowing the evidence of the prospect's worldly worth and status to govern the dollars and cents total best suited to the home is essential. There is a moral obligation to the prospect that a Literature Evangelist must recognize.
Remember, "All our service is to be done to the glory of God, to give the light of truth to those who are in darkness. Selfish principles, love of gain … should not be once named among us." C.E., p. 10
